Mfulawamanzi’s comprehensive organizational structure ensures efficient management, legal compliance, and high-quality service delivery across its diverse range of water and coal services.
Directorate: SHEQ Services
• Ensures legal compliance across all directorates, focusing on Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and Quality System compliance.
• Key responsibilities include method development, ISO quality systems, job observation & training, and compliance with approved procedures.
Directorate: Scientific Services
• Provides specialised water, wastewater, environmental, and coal-related services, including analysis, audits, sampling, monitoring, and laboratory support for water, soil, sludge, and industrial processes.
• Supports industry development through SANAS-accredited lab setup, management of off-site laboratories, and training initiatives, including experiential learning opportunities for students.
Directorate: Water Engineering Services
• Manages and operates water service systems, including plant maintenance, borehole monitoring, disinfection systems, and cleaning of reservoirs and water tanks to ensure compliance standards.
• Conducts water quality monitoring and analysis, including sampling, site inspections, data interpretation, and developing risk-based plans to support Blue and Green Drop compliance.
Directorate: Bulk Water Chemical products and Allied Services
• Procures, transports, and applies bulk water chemicals including pH correctors, coagulants, and disinfectants.
• Works closely with other directorates to ensure efficient operations.
Directorate: Training & Development
• Offers formal and informal training in water and coal mining sectors, accredited to provide NQF 2 and 3 training.
• Provides skills training programs and supports other directorates with training needs.
Directorate HR & Finance
• Oversees the company’s core support functions, including financial management (invoicing, payments, procurement, and stakeholder liaison) and policy development, implementation, and review.
• Manages human resources and industrial relations, including recruitment, legal compliance with labour laws, staff induction, disciplinary processes, and representing the company at the CCMA.
